Intermezzo Orchestra Concludes 2025–2026 Season

On May 9, 2026, Tim Janiszewski and the Intermezzo Orchestra of Encore Youth Orchestras concluded the 2025–2026 season with a final concert celebrating the ensemble’s musical growth and continued artistic development.

The program featured Intermezzo Concerto Competition winner Tomas Garcia Pascual performing Dragonetti’s Double Bass Concerto, along with the fourth movement of Brahms’s Symphony No. 1 and Beethoven’s Marcia alla turca from The Ruins of Athens, Op. 113. Throughout the season, the orchestra took on increasingly challenging repertoire and demonstrated meaningful musical growth since the start of the season.
